Hamilton / Palm Nth - bike shops?

The three women in my life have decided that there aren't enough bra and frock shops in New Plymouth, so we're off to a big town for girly shopping, whoohoo.

Save me guys, that's my idea of double hell, so I've decided to let em loose in the pink frilly shops whilst I cruise the bike shops for gear and accessories.

I have a choice of Hamilton or palmy north.

    Questions

which is better for bike shops Hamilton or palmy north?

Are any of them open on a saturday/Sunday ?

Could you shout up the names and addresses please, I don't know either town well.

I did read somewhere that a major player in Palmy north has just closed, dose that leave Anzaas the only option.

Any help gratefully received guys or I shall be asked my opinion on a thousand bloomin girly clothes for hours on end.
    Oh bugger

New Plymouth with 4 bike shops has quite a good selection of goodies I thought....
In comparison Christchurch has not all that much more on offer.......

Maybe get that address of portokiwi just in case.........

Opinions are like arseholes: Everybody has got one, but that doesn't mean you got to air it in public all the time....

Yeah new Plyms ok for a small place, I guess, The bloke in the suzi place is giving me some right funny looks, like I'm casing the joint with a view to nicking his Busa but I've looked the look off everything over the last 58 consecutive rainy days , I particularly wanna get Betty some bling by way of apologising for not taking her out much.

So we reckon Hamilton then. I know of a couple on Te rapa? any more?

Te Rapa straight has most of Ham's shop's. (cept for Ham Honda).
Waikato Yamaha is behind the Te Rapa McD's.
Also check out the much improved Supercross cycles on Te Rapa Rd.
Michael does crazy sharp deals on tyres, clothing, accessories.

Most of them open up Sat at about 10.00am, and close about 2-3pm.
Chase down Quasi if your after riding gear, I hear he does great Sat morning coffee.

Now that Phil Turnbull's motorcycles has closed down i'd say you'd be better of going to Hamilton and probably Wiakato Yamaha by the sounds of it.

Edit: Anza's would only be an option if your a Harley rider although they do have some new Triumph's and are open on sundays but in the general scheme of things only carry minimal gear of interest to a rider of anything other than Harley's and Triumph's.
