If you can't afford what WMCC are charging for a second-hand Buell, might I suggest that you can't afford a Buell, full stop?

Suzuki, Yamaha and Kawasaki have all made excellent motorcycles over the past decade, many of which you may find to be more within your budget.

Thanks for the really unhelpful comment, jrandom. I don't recall saying that I can't afford what WMC are charging, and who in their right mind goes out and buys the first bike they see without shopping around?

Not so much a matter of not shopping around, just that if you're looking for a particular bike and having to scrape the bottom of the barrel on price to get it, you might find that it doesn't work out to be the best choice.
