    Sick of the crap weather

I know you cant do anything about the weather but enough is enough. Supposed to be coach of my sons soccer team but after 9 rounds of the competition there have been 5 games cancelled (even today although its fine in Auckland).

The boys and I are just fed up with it all and it breaks the kids when I have to phone and say sorry games cancelled and see you at practice.

Guess I am not alone in this situation and all I can say is roll on summer when I can start coaching the boys cricket team

My son's team got to play today. Won 3-1 as well

Having a break can sometimes be good for their game!

I thought it was winter....but hey maybe I am missing something here....

Winter is one of the four seasons of temperate zones. Calculated astronomically, it begins on the solstice and ends on the equinox. It is the season with the shortest days and the lowest average temperatures. It has colder weather and, especially in the higher latitudes or altitudes, snow and ice. The coldest average temperatures of the season are typically experienced in January in the Northern Hemisphere and in July in the Southern Hemisphere.

It is summer here and has rained heavily four out of five days. But today is stunning so out on the bike later!!

And I thought it was Whingeing Pomes not Whingeing Kiwis.

So move the the South Island - it's better down here (well I've found it to be drier than Auckland)

Yee ha - I'm our team manager, and we got a game today finally after heaps of cancellations too. Awesome boys won 6-0. But like yours, they have been gutted when they can't play because the fields are a pool of mud from all this rain. Only a few more games now b4 the end of season, so gotta enjoy them while they last.
