Aww mate, the Guzzi is a write-off, to think I destroyed such a honey of a bike will live with me forever.
A Volvo [ what else ?? ] turned right, right in front of me on the SH 1 near Dairy Flat on Christmas day of all times. No indicator, as you will have guessed.
Me, well 2 days in critical care with a zillion tubes and shit comming out of everywhere.
Complex fracture [ well 4 actually] of the pelvis, so no walkies for 2 or more months. And more metal plates and screws. Might need water wings next time I go swimming just to keep afloat.
4 broken ribs, and 2 lungs full a holes from said ribs.
And just when I was getting over it a bit, my immune system shut down, and I got the worst case of Shingles ever, look like the elephant man.
Still , life goes on, still got the Honda, but I better put a dust cover over it for a while.... :spudwave:

Hey Dodge, did pretty much the same thing as you (with a few more fractures in my pelvis, knee, ankle etc for good measure), mate my sympathy goes out to you. I wouldn't wish a fractured pelvis on my worst enemy. Take care of yourself and knit quick!

Sorry to hear about the crash, Dodgyiti. That's not good to hear at all.

Hope you get better really quickly, with no complications.

Mate I really feel for you. And shingles on top of it - you poor, poor bugger.
All the best for your recovery. I have found posting lots of crap on here kinda helps with your sanity. Take care.

OOOOOOOOOOO riffer raffer is coming out again hahahahahaha (if not you allowed to ride pillion or will your neck not take the helmet (don't know much about necks only that if it's fucked it's fucked))
Lump lingered last in line for brains,

I have just recently found this forum thingy, so I am a bit new/shy  about all of this. But I am interested in meeting with you all. So do I just turn up at Mission Bay? On my bike , of course. :

mate, how many members are actually not recovering at the moment?? Is this something I need to know about and, like, quit while I'm still in one piece?
