I don't mind you passing, I just wasn't expecting anything to be on the outside of me while I'm taking a corner on a crest at 130.. Then I hear this mozzie in my ear, and you fly past like I'm stood still!!!!?!?!!??? wtf...

anyhoo, bloody good run, and thoroughly enjoyed and we should do it again.. As for where we went, I have no idea.. Got the worst tank slap of my life too, so might have to redo that road, find out where I went wrong. Glad I'm home, I can change me pants now..

Frosty, you get back ok without BB falling off??!! Couldn't believe he fell asleep!!

Great ride, nice blast there and back.

Only Frosty can be held acountable for Motoracer's style. He learnt at the seat of him. Luckly only "Dave" was there and not Frosty, otherwise would have given him a piece of my mind

Crashe, your improving in leaps and bounds. Lie you said, ignore everyone behind you. How did you find looking for the posts around courners on the way back at night?

Justsomeguy. Ride was from Mission Bay to St Helliers and then up through Gendowie and back to St Helliers Bay Road for a gas stop. From there out to Howick and on to Mairatae. After a feed of Fish and Chips and tracking down Allan's boots we heading back the way we came. Fun heading towards the set sunset. I pealed off at Howick and had a beer at home.
Speed limits are just a suggestion, like pants.

You want a bigger bike! I topped the little FXR out at a 148 in 6th gear just over the 12.5k redline. Oh well, as most pointed out its not really a big deal, all in good time, 250 here I come...

    Cool

Well me and Erik want to know where you ALL disappeared to???
We came up to a roundabout ..hmmm no bikes... come to another roundabout.. hmmm still no bikes... oh hell we are all alone in the dark, in the middle of somewhere....lol.

Erik decides that we need to go back to the last roundabout and turn down there.. so off we trot.... and we stayed together, having to ask a few people "UMMMM where's the motorway, we are kinda lost?"

Well after asking a number of folks we do make it to the motorway..
and Erik bless him, wanted to go back to Mission Bay to see if any of you lot had gone back there....

Well we had fun sorting ourselves out with all the new extensions down by Grafton/Stanley St.... but we make it to Mission Bay ok...
Hmmmm still no bikes....lol...... so then we head home..... Erik went off at Waterview and I continued on down the motorway....

So what can I say about the trip... The whole thing was great....
Thanks Wonko for those kind words.... I had a great time out there with all you lads....

Riff Raff you should have come along.... I was the only gal... but the boys did behave themselves....lol.

I must have done about 30 little wheelies and only about 2-3 decent ones. Pretty pathetic but as they say practice makes.....

Nice bit of riding coming into Mairatae, 200kmh + sweepers, nice.

Ride back bit slower as tinted visor and night time = shit, is that a bend coming up?

Good turn out and good mix of bikes. When's the next one?
Don't be hard on yourself about your wheelies, it looked to me like you were bringing them up and putting them down smoothly.

I think if you carry on, you'll start to get some more height on them, and then will be able to balance them after that.

But regardless, it looked like you were enjoying yourself, and that's what matters.

Oh, and that burnout at the traffic lights was good for a laugh.
We're all fucked. I'm fucked. You're fucked. The whole department is fucked. It's the biggest cock-up ever. We're all completely fucked.

You did it on an aproach to a roundabout while following Drunken monkey. Thought "Here we go" for a moment, but I was in other wheel track, and you recovered fine. Relax a bit more, and give yourself a bit more space in front of you and you'll be fine.

Hey guys John got home and told me what a good ride he just had.
it seems there were about 15 bikes on the ride including a father/son combination on a bandit 250 and a GSX1400 -
Good riding on the way out to the Fish and chip place at maraitai.
Aparently Aff man had a bit of a job catching up to John on his ancient XJ900
Bet ya diddnt know a pathetic 75hp beast could hussle so well aff man lol
