I'm sure I've said this before but hey it's in the right post.

As in all organisations/offices/work places there is always a prick or two. The police is a large organisation and therefore by the law of Maths there will be a few more in the police. This is unfortunate in an organisation like this but it is a fact of life that the minority make the news and generally fu*k things up for the majority.

Also with the police take into the fact they have to do what they are told to do which also takes away some of the human factor. It is unfortunate here in NZ they have been told speed speed speed is the problem and to ticket everyone and to make money. I'm sure allot of them would like to just give a warning as they can see if someone is driving well or not and if they're a few K's over a warning would be better for the driver and public relations. But like any job there are rules to follow whether you like them or not.

I watched a UK police show a while ago and the traffic officer on there said the day they take away their ability to use their own judgement within their training is the day he'll leave the job. Something like that anyway I'm sure you get the idea.

At the end of the day they are all someone's Mum, Dad, Son, Daughter, Brother, Sister and Friend. and like some have said on here don't let the job define the person.

I don't think I've met the cops on here but the fact you are on here and the comments I've heard about you, it's great to see. The only reason I'm not one is because of my eyesight as I come from a family involved with the police.

    That's my bit

Agreed. Nice to get the comments that arent just the party line, course, sometimes it is important to know what that party line is LOL
