well i got a can of carb cleaner thinking i would clean da carbs on da gsx400 as was a bitch to start.
talking to my brother this morning an he said white vinegar was da stuff witch sounded easer.
riped carbes off and took all jets etc out into seperate little containers and soaked the whole lot in da vinegar for 2 hours then washed in hot soapy water then rinse everything.
blew air through everything on asembly and put back on the bike [note-getting the air cleaner on these is a real bitch].
put tank on, fuel on, choke on, key on and three windes and purred to life.
what a difference it made runnes 100% better.
wouldnt bother with carb cleaner just soak in vinegar
