im all for seeing jousting bought back with motorbikes (possibly motocross...i dunno why i can just imagine it being 2 stroke motocross bikes) I'd like to see the sport develop further by becoming a death sport with a game type in the next unreal tournament computer game.

We need two versions of the Olympics.

The traditional one, and another one where people can take as many performance-enhancing drugs as they like.

If someone wants to juice themselves up to their eyeballs, and run an 8 second 100m, I would watch it.

Some years ago (quite a few actually) there was a jousting tournament held at Whangarei's Okara Park - part of some festival or other. We duly went along to watch the mayhem but were sadly disappointed. It was a night time event and the atmosphere was pretty cool - burning torches etc etc.....Unfortunately somebody forgot to tell the horses what was going on. When the time came to joust, the horses would have none of it - the flickering torches freaked them out and they shied and bucked and generally carried on and wouldn't even charge along the divider thingy........was called off much to the disgust of the crowd....funny that...
