Yeah nothing that drink doesn't fix on the night eh Dave. I haven't been to Mt Isa but I did spend some time in Newman, Camp Anderson and Dampier a while back, and the few girls there definitely got a lot of attention.

Anyway what's wrong with a sixsome anyway - 5 guys, 1 chick - wasn't that the ratio?

Hey how does this place compare to Middlemarch?

I was headed for Mt Newman and a job driving at the mines when I was 23.

Sold my XS1100 (only asset) for bus fare and rent and did 72 hours on a bus to Perth.

2 clandestine quarts of Bourbon later I met up with Co-pilot - who I had dated for 6 weeks in Sydney a few months before. Coincidentally she was moving to the Golden West and she picked me up at the terminus.

6 weeks later, when I emerged from her bedroom, I said 'stuff the mines' and got a job in Welshpool.
