Older version of Scorpio(?) on Trademe

To me it looks hidious. The bike is infact featured in the PS2 game Tourist Trophy but does it really worth $7,000?

Question here, Why the fat rear tyre?

    It's a Van Van competitor.

The rear tyre is so you can float across rivers and streams.

$7000 would get better bikes to do the same job...and change...

It's not older version of Scorpio. Apparently Scorpio has never sold in JDM market. (I think Scorpio is made in Thai Yamaha isn't it?)
TW might use same engine and other components as Scorpio tho. (not sure TW first or Scorpio first)

I think it's just purely for design thing.

Honda have similar concept bike called FTR223

I think it is still on sale but not really popular bike.

So they wanted to cover up this loss they made bike like this.

    CB223

    It looks hidious.

Something wrong going on in Japanese companies at the moment....

Hmmmm it suppose to look like classic bike but it doesn't have twin rear suspention, tyres are too big, it's gonna cost 460000Yen=$5500...

Honda made this bike so that they can get rid of FTR223 parts which they couldnt sell...

At 10000Yen less price there is Suzuki ST250 or 70000Yen less Kawasaki 250TR.

If someone remember, I am the one who put CB223 thread couple month ago, but as I continued my research it just don't look like a good bike.

Thats the general opinion of Japanese bikers online and I do agree with them.
