Ok - I'm phoning the geek with nothing better to do than post shamless self promotion and glarification police. Now where's the number? :sneaky2:

(by the way, if that was a freeware screen capture programme you used, your PC is now infected with spyware - happy surfing)

Well, back when I lived in the provinces, I did wonder what Aucklanders did all day, but now, I can rest content. And to think, I used to think it was drink flash coffee and talk shop
Could we have a short speech from the new champ on "how to post lots" and the influences in his llife that helped to get him to where he is today
"Not one day that we are here on this earth has been promised to us, so make the most of every day as if it was your last, and every breath ,as if it were the same"

    Get it right:
    "I'm phoning the GeekWithNothingBetterToDoThanPostShamelessSelf-PromotionAndGlorification police."

Now I suppose you're going to phone the sub-department that deals with OtherGeeksWhoHaveNothingBetterToDoThanPointOutFaul tsInPostsAndCorrectThem
    ... and that's what I think.

    Or summat.

    Or maybe not...

My number? It's in my user notes if you want to call me, although I'm not sure why you would...

[Edit: Ah, thank you, vifferman. Never mind, then.]

No, that counts as deliberate use of a rampant and malicious virus.

I've never paid a cent for a Microsoft product in my life.

That might explain why I'm so ambivalent about the Evil Empire. It's always harder to be a revolutionary when someone else is paying the bills.

And I'm not surprised that people put spyware in screen capture programs. People who don't know what the 'PrintScreen' button already does in Windows are likely to be the type that don't notice their PC being recruited to the Zombie Horde.

pssst - because between you and I, I can then tell my IT department that it must be malicious spyware that re-directs my browser to www.swedishteenagenymphoperverts.com and not as a direct result of me typing the name into my browser.

Bah, Humbug - there's another link that doesn't work. Must be the anti-spyware program is working.
Do you realise how many holes there could be if people would just take the time to take the dirt out of them?
