Otherwise, I have my grandparents out at Whangaparoa so I'll just ride there on a Friday/Sat, stay there a night and I'll jump on the motorway and meet you guys for the KB rides

north of Dargaville through the forest with the big Kauri trees is a good ride, pity its such a drag riding to Dargaville first! (very long straight roads)

otherwise going north over the Brenderwyns then through Waipu, Langs Beach then Mangawhai is always a bit of fun.
