Having read the books well in advance of the seeing any of the movies only Pierce Brosnan or Roger Moore really fit the character Ian Fleming created and perhaps my dislike for Sean Connery as James Bond comes from that

And the the movies were wanked up to make them rather more a comedy than anything else.

Funnily enough, Roger Moore was Ian Fleming's personal choice for James Bond. Still don't like him tho. Sean Connery made James Bond and no one else has come close to comparing!

Sean Connery is still puling votes as the sexiest man alive because of his success as James Bond. SO says my girl

George Lazenby and Timothy Dalton are the only two that have brought physical menace to the role. Sean Connery and Pierce Brosnan always seem startled and scared when things go wrong. GL and TD "focused" and then killed people and broke stuff.
If a man is alone in the woods and there isn't a woke Hollywood around to call him racist, is he still white?

Always thought that "Roger Moore" was an instruction, rather than a name.

The best Bond in recent times must be Shane. A bloody legend!

Totally agree! Sean Connery is the man!

How cool would it be if the next bond movie featured a breakout of some ex 007 agents? Connery included!

I enjoyed "A view to a kill" coz the earlier ones were abit before my time for me to fully appreciate. Music rocked in that film!!!

Well Done, Peter O'Toole also made an appearance in Casino Royale too. Had Peter Sellers too. Definitely my favourite Bond movie. I mean how can you beat Woody Allen as the bad guy?

Anyone else notice the new bond movie supposedly has the same name? Grrrrrrrrrr they better not be thinking about fucking with it.

Indy - I'm disappointed, how can you start a thread like this (not to mention poll) without full knowledge of the subject before hand.
