    Smile RGV Powervalve Mod

RGV Powervalve Mod Just thought I'd let you know I have 2 RGV 250's and have modified mine as I am an engineer and am able to modify your valves for only $50 per valve or $200 for 4 valves which is alot cheaper than $1200 for a new set of valves. PM me if your interested. Thanks,
    Rod

That's good value folks. If you've ever had a center pin fail on a PV, you'll get 'em sorted.

Problem for you, Rodders, is that between you and Neil, you guys own all the running RGV250s in NZ

A-hem. There's four alive and well actually. I have one and George has the other, and so far they both race quite reliably . Rodders - yes please; two of mine are done but the other two aren't. What's your turn around?

Haha, I'd argue with you there WT and say that mine runs, its running now but it might not be in the morning or it might not be if TS gets on it, who knows

I did own 3 RGV's but now its just the one, I sure believe in what rodders is doing, veyr worthwhile. got my bike back again tonight rod, going hard as fuck, got rid of the flat spot and its ridiculous. just wait till I have some time and 22 is coming our way... if it doesn't sell...

Rodders, do you sell the powervalve mod by itself?

I live in Sydney Australia and it would be a pain to send the PV to you etc.

I would like to purchase the parts from you and I'll do the mod myself.

The top stuff from the UK is too expensive for me and $50.00 NZ each sounds good.

    Cheers

Do you still do this modification? Does it stop the issue of the pin falling out causing engine failure?

    Cheers

The fix works, as it's good. But I think things have changed a lot at work, so don't know if he (Rodders) can still do it. I don't think he comes here very often these days, but I'll ask him when I see him later. Cheers.

The working drawing of the pins is on the following post. http://www.kiwibiker.co.nz/forums/sh...GV-250-project
The diagram was taken off the rgv250.co.uk site. I had a set made up late last year.
Take it to a engineering shop and get a few quotes.
Get the middle parts reamed not drilled. much more accurate.
