    Hyosung scooters

Anyone got anything to say about Hyosung scooters, especially the SF50?
There is a 2005 one on TM that looks like a good replacement for the FA50. WIll Are they restricted, and can they be derestricted easily?

Factory restricted and limited to 50km/h
Restricted by washer in exhaust, spacer under carb, and washer in variator
Limited by CDI, easily removed by pulling one cable. Most dealers will remove the exhaust washer and carb spacer at the first service if asked.

I've got rid of all restrictions except the washer in the variator, cruises at 65km/h, even two up. Not quite as quick as the Yamaha Jog (about 10 seconds to 50km/h vs 8.7) but a lot more solid, they are quite a big scooter and the big balloon tyres (on the SF50 Rally) absorb potholes easily. My wife finds it a little challenging to ride by herself but she's under 50kg and hasn't ridden anything motorised before.
