Lots of rattling, shaking, set off burglar alarms and all the dogs in creation! Bits of plaster fell down from the ceiling but no other damage, for us at least.
    ...
Sorry, I started up the bike again.

Yeah I felt it! First one since I've been back too! I was sitting on the sofa talking to Mum's friend, house started shaking and we both sat there like "uhh earthquake" - then it got worse and I went straight to the door frame. Poor French kid nearly shat himself. He didn't know what to do!

All the photos fell over, Cd's and Dvd's scattered everywhere and a couple of frames came off the wall. Thats all I saw and went "oh crap"

It pretty well was centred under my house! Sure felt like it.
Well our area was right where it was at.
    Biggest quake I've ever felt.
But as said it was centred right where I am, so might'nt of been as bad in town.
    Books all fell off shelves.
MYSKY box was hanging off the telly.
Was dark when I went to work this morn so have'nt checked elsewhere.

The missus will be home early today so she's going to check around the place.

Crazy shit , H was googling shit on sunday and showed me a screen that showed all the quakes in the last week around the pacific and it showed a line coming down the plates toward NZ but none in NZ, *i laughed and said looks like they moving down this way, see if you can get it to show in sequence, first through to the last one ! Be funny if you could predict them like that* and wham the earth moved for you guys ! wooooo
A girlfriend once asked " Why is it you seem to prefer to race, than spend time with me ?"
The answer was simple ! "I'll prolly get bored with racing too, once i've nailed it !"

    Great. Another fairly big bastard....
Do you realise how many holes there could be if people would just take the time to take the dirt out of them?

Mstrs and I were not responsible for this latest earth moving experience (nor the one before that, either)
We were at work...seperately, not anywhere near each other, at the time!
