    Social experiment part 1

You are sitting round on a raining sunday afternoon not doing much of anything and you get a knock on the door.

You find a slim man dressed in a black suit at the door and before you can say a word he starts a sales pitch.

"Sir, I have come to give you the oppoutunity of a lifetime" the man produced a small black box with a red button on top from his pocket
"Press this button and I will give you $1,000,000. there is a catch of course, You have 7 days to decide if you wish to push the button, and if you do, someone you do not know will die"
"Whats this all about?" you exclaim.
"It's simple" replys the man. "I will return in 7 days. If you have pressed the button I will give you $1,000,000 but someone you do not know will die. There are no tricks. it is simple as it seems"

    So the question bids.

Do you press the button or not?

Nope. To me its paying someone to commit murder. --Ok a bit extreme but I couldn't live with it -knowing i was responsible for a death
To see a life newly created. To watch it grow and prosper. Isn't that the greatest gift a human being can be given?

    Yeah not really........
It says.........''someone you do NOT know''....
People die every day, all over the world, and I for one, dont know everyone. Does not say HE will kill them.
So......Yes I would press the button, give me the coin dude!!!

Know doubt we will find the reason why we shouldn't press the button soon enough.

Its ambiguous as to whether or not you will cause an additional death by pushing the button i.e. `push the button and someone will die', but if you don't push the button someone (many people) die anyway.
I would ask for clarification first...

Well if this certain person that I didn't know was going to die anyway...of course, gimmie the folding.
If they were going to die at that time ONLY because i had chosen to push the button...no.

Karma's a bitch and money is only money and piss easy to make if you really want to.

The person who dies is the person who presses the red button...because he did not know himself for pressing the button...well that is what I reckon

I read it wrong, I thought it said someone you know will die, not someone you do not know.... so I change my vote to Hell yeah!

I maybe hard-up but I do have a Morals, so na. I'd probable deal with guy like I do with all door-knockers and tell them ta bugger off.
Had some God Bothers trying ta palm off their propaganda on me while I was trying ta shoe a horse. I told them I was Pagan and they where annoying my Gods. If they stayed around annoying me any longer, I would need a human sacrifice to appease them. Seem ta do the trick

Only if your theory is right GB, and maybe that's something I would know I would do. (I don't know, I'm confused now, and really don't care)
