[QUOTE=bomma;1706658]just a quick check, other than andrew and ross (off the top of my mind) is there anyone else who can constitute a "fast" group??? im guessing kyle, ehab and dan will be keen to see how their new machines handle so they'll be zooming off with those two, stevo's prolly gonna be lead for the "slow" group and ill tec for a bit if i make it on the day.....

i dunt think im near the speed and skill level of ross and andrew so i might see myself being left behind in the fast group but yea il be keen to play catch up..
For those of you whose use the fast lane on motorways and only do a 100km/hr, can you pls use the middle lane, some of us like to ride at 105km/hr thank you very much.

I'm keen to ride with you guys during mid-week (Monday to Thursday) so shall keep watching this thread if anything pops up. If you guys are just gonna do a long single day trip, I may carry on my self and do an over nighter mid week.

All depends on cash flow really.. have my old man's birthday on the 2nd and father's day not long after that.. greedy bastard.

fair enuff cuz but lemme tell ya the hornetto is a very VERY forgiving monster....as you may have found from your ride earlier very little input is needed to eat up those corners.....good to see that you're mature enuff to know your boundaries and own up to em

Happy to go 'medium' pace or slow - not bothered, but Ross is poor and overworked [Uni may stop, Profs does not, nor does grinding poverty], so a day trip might be possible, but not an overnighter - pref midweek or Sunday.

(Ross has even started referring to himself in the 3rd person, a sure sign of senility...)

This is turning into a talking shit thread..as per usual. I've looked at some routes. I'm thinking I'll follow the coast down to gisborne, fingers crossed the gorges will be open...then cut across from there maybe. I suck at nz geography. This trip is all weather and money dependant. If weather is shit I'll do one dayers out of auckland.

There'll be no running around picking up this, that and him/her. I'll meet up with kyle and stephen if they are keen to have a brainstorm. Also, I'm thinking on saturday I'm gonna head out coromandel way seeing as the weather is beautiful. Most likely a half coro.
