    Road trip

When: first week of semester holidays...whichever is sunny.

Where: I'd like to go to taupo, I hear it is a nice ride down there and I've never really been, only shot through.

It'll be an overnighter, meet up, go for a ride touch down in taupo in time for some kipper and a beer and a bit of a chill then leisurely get up the next day and ride wherever, back to auckland if people want or maybe detour to another town for another night. Anyone keen? Ride will be noob friendly..really cos I'm a noob haha. *it's alright to say that on here, if anyone says noob in real life then your a tool...same goes for pwned*.

I've been planning pretty much the same. Leave Friday. Get back Sunday. Not quite decided where yet, maybe Wellington.

Sounds good, prefer it in middle of the week and 1st week coz I have things on weekends...

We could use backpackers I used to stay when I went to Ski-trip with my mates.

Yeah but other people have things during the week, so it's a catch-22 choice really.

And the bars are more lively int he weekend anyway.

I have work on the weekends but can shift my work around during the week, yeah banzai, I'm thinking mid week next week too, I'll also be going on a ride on saturday. Plan at the moment is to go to taupo, stay the night there, then onto wellington where we can chill for a day, they have some great beer and then back up to auckland the next day.

Well I thought I would put a heads up on here as riding with at least one other person will be nice, if no one is keen then I will solo it...I'm not too fussed. A good opportunity to ride instead of meet and talk shit like most motorcyclists.

you gonna have a front brake by then?
then again what do you need brakes for? they just slow you down any way!!

i'm down for a day long mid week ride (pref first week of hols), AND a friday to sunday wellington trip... gotta be down there in the second week for a friends 21st, and was considering doing teh ride down provided i had company.... so, if u keen to ride it down to wellington

so dates for day trip that i'm good for is either 3rd of 10th, both a wed...

and for the weekend trip, was hoping for 12 - 14. who else likes these dates? sorry, i know this would mean down to wellin and back the day before uni kicks back into its dull, life sucking, torturous, "learning institution"-'s excuse for ... action.
