Dam good day out and was great to ride with some familiar faces. Had a couple of wtf moments watching some of the riding but that was to be expected. Was nice to do the c2c with no rain and it obviously made a difference to the amount of riders there which was about 100 up on last year 520 registered i was told

Loose nuts, vibrations, farty noises - You'll have us running scared.

A well planned meeting family at the parade. Did I see your mum give you a loving pat? Nice.

The riders we saw on display left alot to be desired. Just t qualify this I am not talking about those that ambled their way out in the nice weather. I have no issue at all with people who enjoy riding at a slow pace - but 2 wide blasting down the striaghts and 4 wide crawling round blind corners gets really old, really fast.
Heard of a couple of incidents where bikes made new gateways in fences but didnt see any on the way.
The weather at the beach was mint. Caught up with monamine, Mark and youngen, Horse, BR and company. Hung round prizegiving for a bit before heading back out webber way in the same fashion we went out there. Cruising along making our way round the twisties and was again surpised to run into traffic. Stopped in Dannivegas for hot chocy and supersonic turned up so rode back to ashhurst with him and his father in law, meanie and horse.

Good day out on the bike all in all.

Be good to see less alcohol being drunk on the ride and some guys wearing some gear would be mint too.
Cheers guys for the escort back to pamly, was a speedy trip back, were ya late to get home to cook??? F&C was bloody great with a coldy thanks fo rthe ups on the shop. The wife really knows how to use the................. phone shit better run she just read this.

A check when I stopped near Woodville at my parents' for tea soon revealed the problem - one of the nuts holding the flange that clamps the exhaust header to the rear cylinder was AWOL, leaving the header slightly loose and able to emit a particularly unpleasant farty noise. The nut must have worked loose and vibrated off the bolt somewhere between the coast and Dannevirke. I tightened the remaining nut and will replace the missing one ASAP.
Was wondering what happen to you horse. I just throught the tractor could not keep up. But that was not the case, or well I guess it was really Sounds all good now with a bit of ?????Cheers.

Nice write up,easy to imagine the mayhem which could happen, either fine weather and idiots riding fast,or wet weather and idiots riding fast, can't win at times lol.

Was a nice day to work not, still today and Monday should be ok for ride, once a kids battery is replaced in his car,why can't people understand narrow posts(terminals) and positive on right and to the rear when battery facing person.Makes it sooo easy to replace. Then suss out the amp, subs, stereo so battery doesn't drain. What is with kids who don't ask is this correct?Using a piece of amp wire as a fuse, doh!!!the bloody fuse was only $2.25 from jacar ffs.

Ahhh my mistake. Well you know how it is, you hear about a bike with it's bits falling off so you think it's a kawazaki being talked about. As we know how reliable they are.

    Again my mistake.
