    A little good news story

Hey guys, I was out walking the dog this morning and found a little pink mobile phone in the long grass, put it in my pocket and promptly forgot all about it as is my way.

So anyway, remembered this arvo and rang the last caller to the phone, a lady called Kim.

Here's the good bit, turns out the phone belongs to kim's mom, who is absolutely beside her self at the loss because it was a gift from her deceased daughter, who won it for her in a competition just before she died.

So although the phones prolly worth $150 the sentimental value is uncalculable. She had advertised a reward in the paper which I of course declined.

The dear sweet old lady has just picked it up from my house, said very little, thrust a bag of oranges in my hand, said a hundred thank yous and went away crying.

    Makes me feel kinda nice.

    Oh bugger

On ya Marty, Kudos to ya man ! Good to feel good !
A girlfriend once asked " Why is it you seem to prefer to race, than spend time with me ?"
The answer was simple ! "I'll prolly get bored with racing too, once i've nailed it !"

    Bowls can wait !

She did seem a little scared at the sight of the skinhead beardy biker samaritan. matters not, sometimes the ugly looking dodgy types can be yer best friend.

Thanks peeps. to be honest, being a little pink number, I thought it would belong to some girly yoof that gets through 3 phones a year, so I'm really pleased at the result. Taint nothing really is it, I'm just thrilled for her, and don't it give ya a buz making someone happy however much or little effort ya put into it.
