My hat does go off to the marshall's that were there. Must be even more boaring than waiting to get a ride.

But me and William both did runs on our RS125 Hondas both equal top speed 199KPH blimmin crazy so so far I still have enough for the New Zealand 125 Record. Just struggling with standing quarter miles on it 13's and the record is 13.40 my brother did it in 12. something on his 125!!! a secodn faster than the record time!!!

Driftn and Jimbo are both correct of course, but Monsterbishi also raises a VERY valid point.
Obviously it is personal choice as to whether people help out at the event or not.
But at the end of the day, the organisers (Cliff Hanger Promotions) gain nothing from these events and it is YOU the riders that will miss out if it falls over.
That is the reason I offer to help out - not because of the sprints but there was concern that the hill climb would die....and personally I love competing in that particular event.

I was one of the riders that entered two bikes:
I filled out two separate forms
Paid two separate entries (i was refunded 1 entry fee later)
I was given two separate numbers
When i went to check my time there was a quetion mark next to my number and the remark "who i this" written next to the time, i cant understand how this got stuffed up.
All said and done i left early but had a great time and would do it again i know how hard it is to organize something like this and im sure it will improve for next time (November).
Thanks to the organisers for what they did get right, i had a fantatic day on both my Ducati and Yamy and meet some great people.
NOT RACING ANYMORE SNIFF SNIFF
It looked like the wind was knocking the timing equipment around, Then there was the cages that wanted to use the 'closed road' and the ambulance........ the organisers did a good job considering. A good event from a spectators point of view, long may it last.![]()
If anyone has any comments/complaints/compliments, please forward to galbrett@xtra.co.nz.
They welcome the feedback.
I have spoken to Dina Albrett (committee secretary) and she is disappointed with the few glitches that occurred. Some were outside of the organisers control but the lessons learnt should make for a better sprint on 30th November.

any idea when the times are going to be up?
Me and koba have all the enteries and times at home and we need to go through them and manually record everyones best times. We both work full time and koba is pulling all nighters at the moment getting our race bikes ready. If anyone wants to vlounteer to come over one night this week and help me out then we might get them up faster. At the moment though it is looking like next week at the earliest. Sorry for the inconvenience after such a poorly run event but we will do the best we can!!!

cheers to the organisers regardless, it;s a cool opportunity and would be a shame to loose it. Good fun day although I had to bail after only 1 run.
suggestion; maybe denote the general area for bike inspections in advance?can't have been easy for the guys doing the scruitineering the way it was. I suspect a lot of us probably turned up well after the 9.00 cutoff which probably wouldn't have helped getting going either.
So anyone take videos? or have clips from their tank cams?
Here;s a short one of the 636, speedo reading 268 so figuring maybe it was 240 odd??
