And I to my motorcycle parked like the soul of the junkyard. Restored, a bicycle fleshed with power, and tore off. Up Highway 106 continually drunk on the wind in my mouth. Wringing the handlebar for speed, wild to be wreckage forever.

    Fuck me!

Another bloody quake. The whole house jumped like an express train was going past.

Upper Hutt is a bit dodgy this week.

    Might have another scotch...

Thank goodness it didn't wake Tim up. Last thing I need is him freaked out about more quakes. He's already sleeping in his parents bed tonight cause he's worried his mum's in hospital...

Hopefully she'll be okay by the morning. Nothing wrong with the baby. Just needs to get a bit stronger antibiotics than she can get at home. Pity they won't let her come home with a drip in her arm as I'm sure she'd get better quicker at home.

For those that haven't lived in Wellington try this (some may have seen it before), but as this forum won't let me put scripts on here you'll have to unzip it and then run it:

It is now Monday and this happened on Friday. I was off for the weekend, so heres the update.

1 LHS scratched fairing, 1 broken clutch lever (Now fixed), broken indicator (Now fixed) and a bent number plate.

Was annoyed but feel better as I can still ride, I just wont look as sexy as I usually do!

Missed it up here, can't remember what it was that I was doing, oh thats right work. Plenty of the other staff told me all about it though

Thanks for the advice. My wife is always panicking about what to do as and when we get a quake hear. Saying that, from what I hear about Christchurch you're far more likely to feel the earth move after a chicken vindaloo than an earthquake.

no waay, it got off way easier: bent clutch lever (fixed), indicator fell off (put back on), apparently a bent-ish screen-holderer...
