Thanks for the advice. My wife is always panicking about what to do as and when we get a quake hear. Saying that, from what I hear about Christchurch you're far more likely to feel the earth move after a chicken vindaloo than an earthquake.

I'm not so convinced, take a quick google for "triangle of life", and see that the first entry is from snopes.com, apparentely that advice is not so sound.
