You lot can revel in this

It's a very sad day for the West Island when a bloke gets kicked off a Cricket team for going fishing and, and having a beer.

That's all I have to say about that.

Have a nice Saturday night - I'm going to my room.

That's just not cricket mate. Sounds like Aussie's getting taken over by the wooly woofters too.
And I to my motorcycle parked like the soul of the junkyard. Restored, a bicycle fleshed with power, and tore off. Up Highway 106 continually drunk on the wind in my mouth. Wringing the handlebar for speed, wild to be wreckage forever.

I would have thought it was compulsory! The other members of the team should be kicked out for not going fishing and having a beer.

Noone since the lords year of 1982 have ever thought that a serious cricket match could ever be performed by a team of less than robots.

Besides, if noone went fishing - who would ever catch the salmon of doubt?

If we're talking fishy business I can warmly recommend a place in Chch if your travels should take you down here. Cookai on Cashel Street between Manchester and Madras St (on the Southern Side).
It's the best Japanese restaurant I've been to - and it's bloody cheap to boot (two people getting all they could want - $35).

If you go to Sydney there's a very nice Japanese restaurant in one of the less travelled street in the "The Rocks" neighbourhood which I'd warmly recommend. Dunno if it's still there, been 5 years since I was last there - but it it is it's certainly worth the search.

Yeah - still there. I got trolley-ed with the co-pilot and her cousin at the 'Governor's Pleasure' 3 weeks ago.

Spent a while talking to a couple of Banditos too.

Unlike the Cricket - nobody much over there cares about Union. We're leaguies mostly and typically don't do much more than check the Union score.

Of the top 100 rated sports broadcasts of 2007 Rugby Union matches comprised 3 of them.

The Bledisloe rated well. The next best was 97th.

    Go Saints.
