The other point to be aware of is the need to rehydrate (drink water)

If Sunday is anything like the last few days, it will be bloody hot out
there, don,t wait till you start to get cramp..keep your fluids up.

I will be going down SH22 to check it over again on Saturday just to make sure everything is all good and to have an accurate idea about where to have the stops and a few other details. (that's why I still don't have all the info all the instructors cause I am still collecting the info myself).

You guys know that its the Nationals drags this sunday, and the motorway is most likely to be blocked up for MILES and MILES either way from Meremere... Even early..

Cheers for that. Didin't know about the drags.

We won't be riding on SH1 for very long at all so there should be no problems. If Motorway looks backed up right up to Bombay hills, we can skip that section of SH1 as well by going via the old GSR after taking the Puke exit.

Dont worry mate, we arent going anywhere near there, and we will only be on the motorway for a short time (like 5 kays, if that....)

I'm leaving from west auckland, Repco (9 clark st, new lynn) would be a good place to meet. I'll be going along Hillsborough road to the south western motorway (Hugh Watt drive SH20) and then getting on the southern motorway (SH1) at manukau.

I'll be there at 8:15 and leave at 8:20 sharp.

sweet, thanx for that. I've told him 8.15 sharp, so hopefully should all be go. He's on a white GSXR400 with a red jacket and I've told him to be nearer the old flattened gas station, but I doubt there's going to be many bikes there..

He did ask about if you guys were stopping by Mt Welly with me and the others. I told him I wasn't sure, so might be something to do, but see on time. We'll be outta there around 8.30/45ish, so if we're not there, we've gone on. I guess see at the time.
