    GSXR K6. indicator/blinker/turning signal problem

    hey hey

I noticed today that the right side indicators on my k6 don't work (both front a rear). There is no light on the dash either but the left side is working perfectly fine. Even when i turn on the warning lights (both left and right simultaneously) only the left side works but once again no right hand lights or dash signal. I checked the fuse but that seems fine. Seems like some sort of relay system? I did a search of this form already for past problems but nothing related to what is happening to me. Would someone be able to point me in the right direction would really appreciate it

    have you checked the lightbulbs....?
First blow 1, then pop goes no 2......

If not, I would be tempted to look at the indicator switch....
Makes contact one way but not the other........

i think the k6-k7 GSXR's are the most shit GSXR's they ever made.

if one bulb is gone, then the other should still go....

yeh cool ill def check it tomorrow but shouldnt the dash light still be working if the bulbs are gone? the thing which is kinda weird is that the dash indicator doesnt work regardless of using the indicator switch or not =\ (warning lights are a different button)

the whole indicator circuit is not that complicated.
But best is to start troubleshooting from easy/simple to harder.....
So to start with the bulbs would be no 1 to check.....
the indicator light in your dash works only if indicators themselves work.
You could have a faulty earth wire somewhere...... That way no indicators nor dash indicator....
So test hooking up a + wire from battery to the pos wire from offending indicator.
After hook up good earth wire to neg wire from same indicator.
Have a look at flasher unit, and follow your wires.....
Indicator switch would be the final check....
