    Front brake light problems

Hey there, I got a problem with my front brake. The brake itself is fine, it's just the electrics are playing up. When I squeeze the lever the brake light comes on, squeeze it a bit more, still on, a bit more, the brake light goes off. The light is only on for about 5mm range of the lever, so if I squeeze it fast it just doesn't come on at all. What are the probable causes of this and how can I fix it?

    Thanks
    Michael

Have a look on the underside of the lever assy, you should see a switch (just follow the wires) some are adjustable ie. slotted screw holes. You may be able to loosen it off and adjust it accordingly.

Also try (carefully so you don't drop bits) taking the switch to bits. They are usualy quite simple and it's possible the back end of the slide has become corroded
