    Machine Head & Slipknot

    Anyone keen?

Would love to finally see Machine Head, not particularly fussed over Slipknot.

    Can't wait!

Between this, on Oct 22, and Meshuggah on Oct 10, it's gonna be a Metal Month.

Slipknot are well worth seeing live ... great stage presence and they pull some funky stunts ... my wife made me take her to the BDO when they played a couple years back, between Slipknot, System of a Down and Beastie Boys (not to mention the $14k jackpot my wife picked up at the casino afterwards) i couldnt have been a happier lad

    But Machine Head....

Their latest album is absolutely amazing.

I'd go if Machine head were the head line act.

Slipknot's music and lyrics are just too shit for my liking.

the best thing about wierdos at a concert is that they expect to get a kicking thinking its part of the show ... time for fun

    Ha! An awesome one.

Can't really go wrong with Deep Purple either.

We should start a thread dedicated to bizarre metal band names. There's quite a few.

Man I'd love to be there, seen Machine Head before in the UK in 97, fucking awesome! New album is killer, Slipknot ain't my cup of tea, some of their songs are cool, but not worth the money from my point of view.

Already bought my Carcass ticket and waiting for the Seether tickets to go on sale!!!

Good to see you have your Carcass ticket, me too.

I even dug out my old Heartwork tour shirt from when they were last here in 93 in preparation.
