    i won't be riding dirty, just cleaned my bike today. Blardy moths, Seemed to have one wedged into every crevice at the front of the bike. Riding home on Wed night was like riding in a snowstorm, plink plonk all the way down tram rd.

    Looking forward, any thoughts on next weeks route and rider segregation? I think the lesson to be learned from last week is that some sort of grouping needs to occur.

    I know this will fall on deaf eyes but since I am waiting for a big download I have time to spare so bear with me. And I think this has already been suggested but ....

    It seems there are basically three classes of rider attending the WNR;

    Balls Out Brigade - ie the "Power Rangers" and quasi Road Racers
    Sport Riders - like to travel at a challenging but safe pace
    Cruisers / Learners - self explanatory

    The only other scenario are the off-road guys, if they take a different route.

    If the route can be decided prior like last week then it would not be hard to stagger the departure times by 5 minutes or so, giving the tail enders of the groups plenty of time to clear out before the next group take off.

    Hopefully this would minimse the need for overtaking etc.

    Just my thoughts.....

    The simple act of publishing the route beforehand will sort it all out pretty quickly.

    Especially after last week's fiasco.

    The "Balls Out" riders will lose their licences, the "Sport Riders" will get a heap of demerits, everybody will get pissed off and the following week all that will bother to attend will be people who will stick rigidly to 100kph or less.

    Isn't that what everybody wants?
