I really enjoyed cruising along tonight, with not a care in the world. I kept noticing all the cars and trucks that pulled over to let us through - friendly bunch our Cantabrians, overall, eh! Maybe it's that 'safety in numbers' thing, they might just be too scared to break up our group.

Nice to be a part of it, hope the Duvuchelles group had good ride too ~

Another good ride again. Apologisies to whoever put up with my high beams from sometime before Lyttelton, I glanced down and realised the blastered things were on.

Yes was a good ride over the hill, and not much gravel which caused some hairy moments last week, and some nice nacho's at the pub.

I managed to do some mirror vs road marker post impact testing on the way back and had to make some running repairs as the bloody mirror started to flop around going through Little River.

Glad to see you "plodders" enjoyed yourselves too hehe

After you mentioned the marker post in little river I noticed several posts missing their top halves on corner apexs on the way back

...I also hear that a rider of a certain classic motorcycle is in the market for a '12 o'clock bar'

    C'mon what did you do...?

RE the mirror, not so funny thing was after I tightened her up I nicked another one around the side of lake forsythe but this time the mirror stayed put. Might need a eyeball recalibration.

Incidentally if anyone has a nice set of black rectangular mirrors for sale to fit honda handlebar mount plse PM me.

Sounds like you would be better off with a pair of heavy gauge steel ones...

Well I had a great ride on Wednesday. It was a bit windy in places but no problems. It was also great to see so many at the pub afterwards. The mighty steed is due for a WOF this week and I just dont have the time to take it in at the moment. If I can get it done I will tag along next week. Where we going?
