It received:
- New plug
- New exhaust gasket
- Carb setting checked
- Air filter cleaned
- Oil changed
- New clutch
I have no idea what most of this involves. I understand most of the words but wouldn't have a clue how any of them were done/would work. Any suggestions?
Well, you descriptions are a bit confusing, but glad to hear that you made it home. You would know if you had seized it because you wouldn't be able to kick it over. They generally only do this if your oil/fuel mixture is too lean. I presume that you are putting two stoke oil in the oil tank??
If it wouldn't start because you had your lights on that would indicate that you aren't getting enough omph from the battery to create sufficient spark, which could mean that your battery is bad or alternator isn't generating enough charge.. Hell, it could be lots of things. Best take it back as Gammaguy says.
I really enjoyed my ride to Godley house.. errm Duvauchelles lol even on a slippery brand new michellin ;-) Cheers Chris
These aren't the bikes we're looking for....
