    Idle mixture adjustment?

Hi all, i have just pulled apart and cleaned out every nook, cranny and orifice of my carbies. Every thing is running fine after the clean out but i have just set the idle mixture screws so it will idle, have set them two turns out from closed and was wondering if anyone knows what the correct adjustment is? Carbs are off '89 GSXR250, two twin barrel carbs.

    Cheers

Hmmmmm lessee.......Idle Mixture....as far as I remember, I used to open em up to get it started, then slowly wind 'em in until the mixture went lean (engine speed began to increase) and then open back out until idle speed had just settled back again........? course, this was in the olden days with Amal carbs on ollllld Brit bikes.....yur dang new-fangled Jappo carbs mighta be different........

For most carbs the factory settings seem to be 3 and a half turn.....
Opinions are like arseholes: Everybody has got one, but that doesn't mean you got to air it in public all the time....
