Running like a box of arseholes! Tuneup time?

After so long going well Connie's sick again.

She's a 1998 CB600 Hornet and started to run like she's starved of a little fuel.

This happened some time ago but after replacing plugs, air filter and running a bottle of Wynns through she came right again. Mate came around yesterday and took her for a spin (took the rest of the night for the grin to wear off!). When I took her to shop 10 minutes later running very rough a sod all power.

Should I throw some Wynns down her again and hope for the best or is there something going on with carbs that needs more direct attention.

Thoughts on a tune up? Also where is good for a tune up in CHCH and what type of $$$ am I looking at for this?

Well...had a yarn to Jase at Hampton Honda. He said that it sounded like she was only running on 3 cylinders. Suggested I drain the carbs and check the plug leads. Also asked him about fuel as I've been using 91, he said that they suggest using 96 instead.

Drained the carbs and no issue there, so easy even I could do it in 5 mins! Plugs leads were all fine but the new plugs were arse! Black and a little wet on all to varying degrees. Gave them a clean up, put all the loose bits back on - low and behold, my baby works again.

After I empty this tank I'll throw some 96 in her and see how that effects things after that.

Hope this helps someone out there that might be going through the same probs.
