Back on 2 wheels - introduction (KiwiKat)

Just a brief introduction as I've only been on KB 1 week. ope to get on some decent rides soon.

The first bike I had in 1976 was a 1972 Honda CB 175 twin. This really wound out and would drag off the comparable Suzuki GT. Crashed twice, 2nd time when a car came out of a centre park straight in front of me at night. didn' hurt but bike was stuffed.

Next bike was a Silver Suzuki GT 380M. I really loved that bike. Heavy, heaps of chrome and quick at lower speeds. Unfortunately I crashed that at high speed through inexperience hitting a stong side wind, down hill and getting speed wobbles. Front Brake not a good idea. Hospital visit for me and they actually repaired the bike. It never rode right after that and shook badly. This put me off bikes for a while.

I just realised it's taken near 30 years to get back into bikes. New Katana 750. I like the comfort and it's got the power if I want it. I still think the old GT Suzukis were the tops though.

Thanks for the welcome. I was thinking it was 20 years then realised I'd lost 10. Who? what? are the trolls.
