I am taking the car back into town, so if anyone wants a lift from Mana back into town around 7pm - flick me a PM (I can only take 1 though!!)

    Talking Meeting Accomplished!!

Koba really sorry you missed the meeting tonight we waited outside till 7.35pm and then went into the hall.

As for the meeting we had 5 showups 6 if we counted Koba, we had another 5 that couldnt make tonite because of other comittments so i think we are off to a good start.
Tonite it was matching names to faces (some faces were easier on the eye than others ), and discovering what skills and resources we could bring to the table, we also discussed some event ideas and possible dates.
Our meeting ran for just over an hour and i know i left feeling like the first hurdle (of many) had been cleared.
We decided that another meeting would be held in the next few weeks to give those that couldnt make it tonite or those that wanted to put there hand in, the opportunity to get on board.

Watch this space all ideas and anyone with a vision to help welcome

Muppet...admittedly, when I first read the location I too thought it was in Newlands. We'll put the location of the next meeting in bold.

There was some good discussion tonight...this is going to be a goer!

yeah , Paekak hill would be great , Maybe starting North side and finishing at the summit car park. Wouldn't stop as many locals trying to get in and out of houses.

The main reason for the Taga Rally not getting a go was due to an annual event at the local school (Fair & Animal show day) which many of the locals attend on the South side of the hill.

Kapiti Car Club hasn't run it's night hillclimb for a number of years. Not sure what issues they may have had then.
