Thumbs up Mid-week day rider (Rosso)

New member, although I have been watching , reading and learning from the forums, As a retirement pressie to myself back on the 1st of April [ yeh I know it was a " fools day" [ for those left behind at work I thought !
I brought a lovely wee 2007 Suzuki VL 250 Intruder, this too re-introduce myself back to riding again after an absence of 30 odd years.
Just like riding a bike you never forget and it was a great thrill , believe me.
Two weeks ago a mate suggested we do a trip to Coromandel and perhaps later head down too the SI. when Summer is finally here.
So I have upgraded to a 2007 Suzuki Boulavard S50 805cc which I am getting plenty of practie on.and loving it
So the main reason for writing this I guess is too ask if there are any old farts out there like me around the North Shore or in the Rodney area who are semi or fully retired and would like to meet up for a week day ride. Perhaps we could start an old " Gentlemans ?? " social club .
    I'm currently based at Whangaparaoa
    Never too Old
    Cheers

    Welcome to KB.

I am also a midweek rider but a little further south. If you are ever heading through the Waikato or over to the Coromandel give me a PM. Always keen for a ride. Have a few trips to the Naki, Bay of Plenty and Central North Island I want to do before Christmas.

Doing a few midweek trips to the West Coast (North Island version) at the moment as Whitebait season has started again. Good fishing as well.
