A young Ulysses is minimum age 40, me, I'm 41.
Met some good folks through the club though, and there's a very wide spectrum of people in it.
I think I fall on the lower rungs of the ladder mind, being slightly liberal in my views towards getting absolutely wankered when out and about socialising. A few KBs on here have witnessed/noted...
Anyway, we're now booked in in the Avro, see yous there.
Shaun, hope to catch you on the 26th if I can get away from work early.
Otherwise, I'm curious as to the rules for the sidecar day. Do I bring all me own gear, and can I hang off? Me mate Bruce Moore is a UK TT sidecar racer, and he's a bit thick, so it can't be that hard eh?![]()
Yup, Bring ya own gear. Just street riding kit is fine, & jeans are ok too.
Umm, Scrivy has seen your post saying that it cant be that hard, I wouldnt be going with him now, ask Kiwifruit.
Nah mate, if Scrivvy can cope with my 100+ kilos in the unit, I'm up for it. Failing that, whoever will have me. I just fancy having a shot.
By the way, to all involved, no offence meant....![]()
I met a couple of French riders and passengers at the Le Mans 24hour a few years back. They spoke no English, my mates no french, so I translated. Here's a direct quote....
"Je suis le pilot. Mon ami ici, il est le monkey"
I won't translate this time, I'm sure we're all clever enough to get the idea.![]()
Spot on bro.
I thought it was something about "I light the boiler, my friend is the man with my key!"
So, you up for showing me the lines round Taupo? (that's where you shit your pants, that's where you piss yourself, that's where you fall off....."![]()
Hey kinger there will be plenty of different sidecars to have a go on, tell everyone. I also know Bruce Moore very well, my brother & i stayed with him & family while racing over there
