    Howdy all, longtime lurker here.

was wondering if any one had thoughts comments on which road transporter to use.

I need to transport my bike from auckland to wellington in november. i see a few companies advertise this service.
i did contact one, which i've had absolutley no reply from????

so any feedback on whos good, bad or indifferant to use?

    Welcome to KB

I used cyclemovers to bring a bike up from Christchurch.
    got good service from them.

Theres a few threads on shipping a bike, most people have got
good feed back on either cyclemovers or bike tranz.
can't really go wrong with either.

Mothers and wives generally and it's not worth the grief of ignoring them.

    I used

Captain Transporter to bring my bike from Auckland to Christchurch.Price was excellent, needless to say cheaper than any other, only thing is it's just depot to depot, not door to door but that saved me $250 odd.Not sure what Ak to Wgtn would cost but mine was $550 inc insurance.Excellent deal and Tony(the guy that you talk to on the phone)is a brilliant dude to chat with lol!Good luck!

Biketranz would do this door to door for around $480.00, and they are bike nuts.
