    I also had a look at it in my recent bike buying venture. It also appeared to be dripping oil from somewhere. Must have cleaned it up by the time you had a look. He is looking closer to $8K anyway.

    yeh i saw it and was thinking about it..... but then again i think i have something in my sights from a bike shop thats around that mark....... it's up your alley anyway. So what you think of your machine....


    Also although rebuilt it might still be a bit dodgy under those new fairings aye
    Lump lingered last in line for brains,
    And the ones she got were sort of rotten and insane...

    Went for decent ride today to Akaroa, went OK, think I need to ride it more like my ZXR400, ie rev the shit out of it more and keep it around 9000-10000rpm. Probably needs some dyno time to sort out jetting with carbon race can, either that or may fit standard muffler and see how that goes. Its a bit flat in the midrange at the moment.
