agree re Kiss. Hate all those other '80's bands, but in response to your point of order, I raise another further Point of Order: Guns n Roses first album "Appetite for Destruction" is a work of genius, start to finish. All Killer, no Filler.

(this from someone who until about three years ago lumped them into that appalling "hair metal" category. Seriously, Appetite is one of the best rock n roll records ever. Tempted to start a thread on it but, well, meh.

WTF Maha? Some of that is great classic rock.
Tears for Fears made some classic pop music too.
Twisted Sister produced one of the great anthems of the genre.

The answer to your question is WHAM.

Poison Drummer Rikki Rockett rides a Thruxton.
I've talked to him online a fair bit. Cool dude.

Andrew Ridgely threw up on my shoes once.

Standing at the bar in Kings Cross and the guy next to me hurls. It was him. I was about to give him some 'advice' when the minders intervened.

It's back..."Political Correctness is a doctrine, fostered by a delusional, illogical, liberal minority and rabidly promoted by an unscrupulous mainstream media, which holds forth the proposition that it is entirely possible to pick up a turd by the clean end."

Oops, just the glam-hair metal scene - I despised it. Nothing wrong with the bands you mentioned though, it was specifically the Bon Jovi/Poison stuff etc that turned me off.
Not many of 'em around now ha ha

There was some shit music in that era is accurate.

I didn't mind the hair bands - I had the hair.

It was the Totos and Foreigner and Journey - 'Epic Rock Ballads' that I couldn't cop. Michael Bolton and Kenny Gee.

However November rain is in my all time top 40.
