    Z6 Metz

Have done 800k on my new Roadtech Z6 Metz & are rapped with it, Looks to be holding up well to the Hp of the GSXR. Heat's up pretty quickly & once hot hold's an excellent line even under load . Have yet to try in the wet so will wait for a rainy day for a ride not that I'll be trying to hard to get it to drift in the wet but good to know what it can do > Have gone down to a 180/55/17 from a 190/55/17 Has made the bike turn in even better so all is good there as well . Will put a M1 Roadtech on the front in the next 2 weeks so should feel great as front is Buggered , starting to slide when pushed > Got 12k out of it so not 3 bad .

good to hear that they are holding up well. that's a lot of power for a sports-touring oriented tyre. The M1 front is good... I know where You're coming from by buying the Z6, rubber doesn't last that long with the gsxr. I just scored some sticky rubber, be interesting to see how that lasts...

They be pretty good in the wet, too, although an old 750 doesnt have quite the same neddies as a new thou. Were still quite stable and grippy in the damp up to 180k in the Waipoua forest though, so Im still impressed. All the real world road tyre I can ever use.

Thanks Guys for post - Got 75000k out of a Bridgey 011 back which I thought was bloody good .Had it on the bike when sold . Been on since 5000k so gave it a hard time till 12500k still had 500 maybe left but had new tyre from Whitetrash so on it went . Sound's like the Z6 will be OK in the wet SPMAN . What year is your YZF750 93/94 ?? Another bike I'd like in the Shed if Wifey would let me :eyepoke:

Good score. I'm a BIG fan of the Z6 after having used three sets on the Zrex.

I tried to get some for the ST but have been told they're unavailable -- oddball front -- 120/70 18. So I'll be running 020s (again) for the next 12,000km or so.

Just fitted a set to the Bandit, so far so great. They feel different but as good as the Diablo's and are many $'s less. I've got 2 weeks in the Sth Is soon, it'll be interesting to see how they wear. My brother's got 7000k's out of his with about 2000 to go.

Mine were more expensive than Diablo's - but at 2 oclock on a Saturday with everything closing and rooted tyres, with a 600k trip to do that day - you dont quibble. They do feel slightly different, but very stable and very neutral..
    A "sleeper" tyre I reckon.

I agree. There are some cheap Pirelli deals around, but we aren't stockists so the Z6's were cheaper.
