    Race leathers 'trackday rentals'

Okay so I have some new and used leathers coming in and was wondering if there's a market for rentals, that is, with some of the not-so-new-looking sets, should I offer them as rental suits for trackdays etc. ....and what do you think would be a fair rental per day. They are Dainese. There may have to be a refundable bond also, depending on what each suit is worth. I also would sell some of course, most have gone out the door as soon as they arrive, but I have some spare if anyone wants to buy, also small (ladies??) boots sizes 40, 41, 42, and some back protectors. Some of the smaller suits I would offer free for the Juniors to use so if you know of a junior that needs a suit, I may be able to help, they would be an 'on loan until grown out of scenario'.

You say you might have some leathers/boots to sell.

Can you pop pics and prices up by chance?

There's an ex racer in Melbourne that has been doing it for years.
( Ray Quincy I think , remember him ?) But as far as NZ goes the market is probably pretty small. Gaz.

Good idea. Have ago days on the track are getting popular at the moment & there are always a few struggles for some to find leathers that fit.

Maybe a package deal to whole Motorcycle repair industry is some thing you could concentrate/focus on?

95% of Shop Bike mechanics, test ride in the working overalls only That is deffinately UNSAFE!

And are sure people like OSH could have a ball if any mechanic ever hurt them self with a crash, and NOT wearing ( Due to NOT being supplied) the correct bike riding gear for Safety! Perhaps even ACC could decline to support, due to lack of personell protection? who knows.

All mechanics that have to test ride bikes, SHOULD be provided correct full safety gear that fits them perfectly.

    Safety!

Now go earn some more money

More of a golden opportunity for an Entrepenuer! Put the package together for the industry, and approach them based on Safety! Cannot loose, and the mechanics are safer, O what a perfect world, BUT, now some one is going to bleat about how much it costs an employer, to have an employee?

The mechanics/salesmen that I know that have it available choose not to wear it, because they can't be bothered putting it on for a trip around the block
