If a man is alone in the woods and there isn't a woke Hollywood around to call him racist, is he still white?

Yep sweetp! thats it! Awesome effort it was too. Wasn't the last to finish either, by a long way. Some of my mates were nearly an hour later to finish after her.

It's actually quite a cruisey day out. Yep there's some K's but it doesn't seem to drag, we had lots of stops, natters and generally stuffing about and still finished at 10pm. We had the Ducati shred its tire right at the summit of the Napier-Taupo road and so had to piss about in Taupo for hours getting another one. Then my tire decided to go out in sympathy by showing its steel at National Park (just before the Paraparas leg). It was a very tentative ride through there to Nasty and the trailer. So with all that stuffing around it still wasn't too much ... just more of an adventure.

So polish your visor and put you and sully's names on the list ... Chanceyy, you too!

Nasty's already said in post #7 that she's going to do the recovery vehicle ... so it's all on.

Sully is wise ... a couple of 300k rides are just right ... and they can be serious fun as well. Here's one of the best out-and-back 325km rides from Welly. It goes Masterton, Mauriceville, Alfredton, Masterton, back road to Martinborough and around Lake Ferry to home. You can knock 25km off it by coming home directly from Martinborough.

Here's to some good weather allowing me to try this out then! Will have to judge whether I'm up to the biggy (well my wrists and forearms anyway) from this I think. Got an awesome suggestion from Ocean1 that I think is a great idea for trial too.

Thanks Nasty - I'd like to plan for not needing a recovery vehicle but I'm a worry wart and a huge believer in Murphy too - what can I say?!
