    That big High forecast for Saturday is just too optimistic.

    I gather its on unless its weather like we had in the capital yesterday I wouldnt even drive my car in that weather. If it is severe then will it be postponed or cancelled????

    Taking my card and stopping on the way at a country voting booth, walk in and vote real easy. Long range on Metvuw suggests that it could be a wet start and then fine . . . . .

    Damn!

    Well Im glad wilber gets to not work this Saturday as I will have to withdraw as I will have to work this Saturday Bloody staff that get injured and leave it to the boss to cover for them.
    To say Im pissed would be an understatement.
    Sorry John... next year! Have a great ride guys & gals, I will be thinking about you all while Im stuck at work.
    Oh well Burt Munro Challenge will be my next decent distance ride.

    Weather

    A quick look at the forecast and it looks like Saturday could be rather reasonable to us I amy not need to buy that wet weather gear after all (but I won't tempt fate and will take some ...just so it doesn't rain )

    Ummmm if i read my directions carefully then if you go via the Manawatu gorge you are going the wrong way??

    Just a word of warning to the manawatu riders coming through tokomaru saturday morning, they have re-started the road works 2km north of opiki turn off on the massey/shannon road and there is now a streatch of gravel there so please be carefull in the dark.
