buddy, by now, u've gotta understand that if 1, no 2, still no... pretty much every person on this thread having said that some shit wasn't right if your clutch lever didn't even get half way before it was at full tension. go through a few motorcycle stores (i know i will tomorrow) and find out exactly how correct your understanding of the amount your bike's clutch lever should be pulled back, and compare that with how far back any other NORMAL, MASS PRODUCED bike's one. i'm gonna assume the world is full of slow ass-like turds that hate change and so if it doesn't go to the end, it's really wacked! (but that's jusst my thoughts (& about 9 other guys'))... after all, i am the dude that took 34 pages of posting just to buy a bike, so what in the world would i know?

and in andrew's defence, there's little left with bike mechanics that he is yet to know. and between him and squiggles, u've got a full encyclopedia on the intricate, inner workings of our beloved 2 wheel transportation devices. u don't have to like his thoughts and opinions, but don't brush it off so quickly, give it some merit. he knows what he's talking about.

and also, who's to say that if "mr unknown but sadly honest" hadn't touched your lever, it would've lasted u fine for the next few years (as all cables should hopefully do so). i' just saying bud, it's sounding really suspect from our end. but hopefully it's fixed soon, and u're back on the road. at least let us know how much u pull back on the new one, so we can all add it to our bike database... for future reference purposes.

And for you people who have literacy problems, what broke was the weld on the little nipple thing at the end of the cable.
Mate take this from a bloke with er a "couple " of years experience.
    PULL YA HEAD IN.
What happened was going to happen anyway-Just you have some poor shmuck to blame it on.
You are just lucky it happened when and where it did.
Actually I feel you rather than blaming this poor sod you should be thanking him. -Imagine if you were in the middle of rush hour traffic.
Do use a GN125 or DR125 cable as they both use the same engine as your beast.
Ohh and YES I have owned GX125 and quite probably YES I do know your bike

AND before ya go thinking/saying -what an asshole giving me shit--
Im more than n happy to fit the cable for ya and check the bike over for ya.
I've more than a suspicion as to whats happpened.
