Its all sealed now. We rode thru there after Pissed Penguin and there were a few places to be sealed. VTR loved it, 2nd gear wheel spinning, had to keep stoping so me mate on FJR could catch up.Its a great ride. Papatowai would be go good stopover. At Golden Bay stay at Pohara Beach Camp. Dont stay at one about 2 km north of Mussel Inn as they ripped me off for $24 for me and me HOG for 1 night in a tent and then had to pay .50c for 5 mins hot water in the shower. I would have normally told the old bag to go fuck herself but it was pissing down and didnt want to ride any more. When leaving Motueka take the west bank down the river as its a bit more scenic. Turn off is 5 mins north of town. Cheers Toddy.

Hi Guys I would be happy to be part of the group putting ideas together if required as have travelled most of South Island. Dont know if can join trip in 06 but sounds like a good idea. Blackball Hilton mmmmmmm

We staid at the Blackball Hilton for a night during our trip. It was pretty good except for saggy bed and sore back in the morning. Food was great - delicious, locally made sausages, mmmmmmmm.
