Donnie Brasco is a good movie, but for some reason I don't think it is a great movie...... apart from Pacino's excellent portrayal of a loser...... quite different from his usual roles.

But IMO the best has to be "A clockwork orange" Although it could be debated it's not really a gangster movie, failing that "The Warriors"

...Well yes Bound is incredibly good, and Jennifer Tilly plays the mafia "Girl" really well. But I think if you're wanting to watch a gangsta movie....Oscar (Sly Stallone) and Ali G are good picks.
