I encourage any first timers not to be shy. We're all there to be social and to have a ride with like-minded folks. Just walk up to folks you don't know and introduce yourself however you feel most comfortable. Some folks use their KB handles, some will introduce themselves first using their "real" names. Surprisingly, most people are quite different in reality to how they may come across online.

Luvverly morning here in Kapiti, I'll be along tonite.
I see the forecast is for a bit of a southerly change with the odd shower to come through this evening so will bring my wet weather kit just in case. The weather may determine the direction of the ride, the West coast being more pleasant in a southerly than the 'Tukas
And it will always be The Cruisy Wed. Night Ride (TCWNR) for me - as a nod to one of its founders who is no longer with us, but beside his memorial seat we gather

DamnClear the calendar to make Wednesday night rides a commom occurabce and the 1st one comes along & the wife has to fly to Nelson and leaves me stranded with the kids!!!
