Steel tank? was the triumphs made from something other/non magnetic?

hmm not sure. Maybe I should try my rare earth magnets to see if there is anything metal under there.

The 07 and some earlier year Speedtriples have plastic tanks. During latter 07 and from 08 they have steel tanks. There is no advantage I can see in plastic tanks - are heavy as thick, hold less fuel and can't drop on the magnetic tank bag. That was the only thing I didn't like about that bike.

Buggar! I should have come riding with you lot. I lost $80 and 20 demerit points on the way home. Who would've guessed that the A was so powerful!

    Hope you all had fun!

    1st time out tonite

Well Dennis was right, it was my first time along tonite and I had a great time. Awesome weather, great roads and good company. I'm so gonna have to make this a regular thing.
